
The Kansas City Royals defeated the Los Angeles Angels 2-1 after a late rally on Friday, May 10.
The Royals fell behind in the fifth inning after the Angels scored a run off Alec Marsh. Marsh went 5 1/3, giving up one run on four hits and seven strikeouts.
The Kansas City offense stayed silent until the ninth inning, when Adam Frazier hit a two-run home run, giving Kansas City the lead. John Schreiber closed out the ninth inning to secure the win.
Kansas City improves to 24-16.
