The Kansas City Royals took down the Seattle Mariners 4-2 on Tuesday, May 14. Seattle struck first with a run in the fourth, but the Royals scored three in the seventh
and one more in the eighth to take a commanding lead. Nelson Velazquez homered and drove in three runs. Michael Wacha went six strong innings, allowing one run while striking out seven. The Royals sit at 26-18.
