The Kansas City Royals fell to the Seattle Mariners 4-2 on Wednesday, losing two out of three in the series. The Mariners took an early lead and the Royals were unable to complete the comeback against the Seattle bullpen. Alec Marsh gave up one earned run over five innings for Kansas City. Bobby Witt Jr. drove in both runs for the Royals.
The Royals are now 26-19 on the season.
