Deputies responded to a disturbance call at a residence on Sadie Lane in Sedalia, yesterday. As they neared the front door, five shots were fired from inside the house, prompting the deputies to take cover.

Reinforcements from nearby counties, including the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Park Rangers, and Sedalia Police Department, quickly arrived on the scene. The suspect was apprehended without further incident. Fortunately, no one was injured. The investigation is still ongoing, and more updates will be provided later.
