A boil advisory is in effect for water consumers who live east of Marshall. The advisory is due to a waterline break on Magnolia Avenue in Saline County.

According to Saline County Public Water Supply District #3, the 24-hour boil advisory is in effect due to a waterline break for accounts that start with a 5. Your water may have been off last night, or you had low or no water pressure.

The broken waterline on Magnolia Avenue has caused air to enter the water and stirred up the other materials that are always in the line. If this gets into your home, you will need to flush the water by filling the tub multiple times or running an empty washer until your water is running clear.
