The Marshall City Council convened for their regular session on May 21. During the meeting, Mayor Vince Lutterbie announced that the grand opening for the Marshall Animal Shelter is scheduled for June 1, from 11 AM to 1 PM.

The event will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a complimentary lunch, and free animal adoptions. Animals adopted on this day will also be spayed and vaccinated at no cost. The public is warmly invited to join the celebration.
