From Tuesday, May 28, 2024, through Friday, May 31, 2024, the City of Sedalia’s Public Works Operations Division will be performing milling and overlay work on N. Grand Ave. The resurfacing project will cover the stretch from W. Main St. to the intersection of W. Henry St. and Martin Luther King Dr.

During this time, the road will be closed to through traffic. Residents needing access to their driveways should coordinate with on-site city crews.

Northbound traffic should use N. Missouri Ave. to reach N. Ohio Ave. and then enter N. Highway 65. Southbound traffic is advised to take W. Henry St. to N. Park Ave. and then proceed to W. Main St.

Work will be carried out daily from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with heavy equipment and workers present on the roadway. The project timeline may be extended due to inclement weather or equipment failures.
