A Sedalia woman sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident in Johnson County.

Ethel Throneburg, 81, of Warrensburg, was driving eastbound on US-50, east of Route D, when she tried to merge into the left lane. Her vehicle collided with one driven by Connie Borgstadt, 62, of Sedalia, causing Borgstadt’s vehicle to veer off the right side of the road and overturn.

Borgstadt suffered minor injuries and was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center. Throneburg was not injured.
