
The Kansas City Royals fell to the Tampa Bay Rays 4-1 on Sunday, May 26.
Kansas City struck first in the sixth inning with a solo homer from Bobby Witt Jr.
The lead didn’t last though, as the Rays responded with four runs in the seventh inning.
Kansas City was unable to respond, and had their eight-game winning streak end in the loss.
Michael Wacha went six innings, allowing two runs on three hits with seven strikeouts.
The Royals fall to 34-20 on the season.
