Ryan Delanty, who served as the fraternity pledge dad of Danny Santulli, has begun a six-month jail term in Boone County. Delanty is among several individuals facing charges of felony hazing following an incident that severely impacted Santulli, a freshman Phi Gamma Delta pledge, in October of 2021.

Santulli now requires constant medical care due to a brain injury resulting from severe alcohol poisoning. Delanty’s plea deal with prosecutors involves the longest unsuspended jail sentence among defendants implicated in Santulli’s harm.
