
The St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Cincinnati Reds 7-1 on Tuesday, May 28.
St. Louis took an early 3-0 lead, scoring runs in the third and fourth off of an RBI double from Masyn Winn and a two-run home run from Nolan Arenado. The Cardinals added three more runs in the seventh after a home run from Nolan Gorman.
Kyle Gibson took a no-hitter into the sixth inning. He went six innings, allowing one run on two hits with six strikeouts.
Masyn Winn extended his hitting streak to 17 games, which is tied for the second longest by a rookie in franchise history.
The Cardinals improve to 26-27 on the season.
