The Salisbury Police Department arrested a subject after breaking into a residence and fleeing from authorities on May 25.

According to the department, Kodi Souders entered the front door of the victim’s residence without permission and tried to attack another person in the residence. Souders fled the residence and broke the rear window of one of the victim’s vehicle before leaving. Officers reported that Souders resisted arrest and fled, despite warnings to stop.

Souders has been charged with a felony for burglary in the second degree. Bond was set at $50,000 cash only.

No court dates have been set at this time.
