The Slater School District Board of Education recognized the 2024 Scholars from its graduating class during its meeting on Tuesday, May 28.

Slater graduated 23 seniors in 2024, and the top three were recognized as 2024 Scholars. The students that were recognized were Abby Brierly, Kadence Campbell, and Alexis Eddy. All three finished in the top ten percent of their graduating class.

In other news, the board also amended the school calendar regarding Spring Break 2025. Superintendent Terry Lorenz reported that the board voted to designate an entire week for the break.

Spring Break 2025 will be April 14-18 for the Slater School District.
