The Kansas City Royals fell to the Minnesota Twins 4-2 on Tuesday, May 28.

Minnesota jumped out to an early lead, scoring two runs in the first inning. They added one more in the fourth before the Royals got on the board in the fifth. The Twins added an insurance run in the eighth inning before closing out the game in the ninth.

Cole Ragans gave up three runs over five innings of work. He allowed nine hits and struck out seven batters.

The Kansas City offense only mustered five hits in the game

The Royals have now lost three in a row and now sit at 34-22 on the season. Kansas City is 3.5 games back from the AL Central lead.
