The Marshall Animal Shelter will hold a grand opening celebration for its shelter facility on Saturday, June 1.

Members of the community are invited to attend the celebration from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be a tour of the shelter, as well as food available for the first 30 people in attendance.

The City of Marshall will also pay adoption fees, spay and neuter costs, as well as rabies vaccinations for those who adopt a pet at the event.
