Work to replace the Mineral Creek bridge just west of Leeton begins Monday, June 3rd.

The Missouri Department of Transportation will close Missouri Route 2 starting tomorrow about 2.2 miles east of Route 13 in southern Johnson County so that crews can replace the bridge. The project will also include improved guardrails and grading. A signed detour will be in place to direct motorists around the closure. The project is expected to take about two months, with all work weather permitting.
