Authorities from the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office and the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force arrested a subject following the execution of a search warrant on Sunday, June 2.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies served the search warrant at a Sedalia residence, where Patrick Reeves Jr. was found, along with a large amount of methamphetamine. Reeves was arrested, and deputies discovered about 43.6 grams of methamphetamine as well as digital scales with white residue, a glass smoking device, and a syringe. Deputies noted that the way the methamphetamine was packaged indicated that Reeves was selling the drugs from his residence.
The Sedalia Police Department also reportedly conducted a controlled buy from Reeves in which methamphetamine was purchased a week prior. Reeves has several felony convictions of possession and delivery of a controlled substance.
Court documents say Reeves has been charged with a felony for trafficking drugs in the second degree. Bond was set at $250,000 cash or surety.
