Sally Irene Boland, 79, formerly of Waverly, MO, died Friday, May 31, 2024, at Pruitt Health in Evans, GA.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2024, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Marshall, MO. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Dover, MO.  Prayer service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2024, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall visitation will follow until 8:00 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. John’s Cemetery or Family Choice. Born January 9, 1945, in Chillicothe, MO, she was the daughter of the late Charles O’Hara and Georgia Irene Braddy O’Hara. She was a 1963 graduate of St. Joseph Academy in Chillicothe. On December 7, 1968, she married Linus “Lenny” Boland who preceded her in death on May 9, 2017. Sally lived most of her adult life in Waverly, MO moving to Evans, GA in 2020 from Hendersonville, TN.  She retired from the Marshall Habilitation Center and after retirement worked at Butterfield Youth Services.

In addition to her parents and husband, Sally was preceded in death by two siblings Pat O’Hara and Rose Gilpin; and brothers-in-law, Wayne Clouse, and John Boland.

With her passing, there are memories that will forever stir the hearts of friends who knew her and family members who loved her dearly. She loved spending time with her beloved family, especially her girls.

She is survived by daughters, Kathleen Stewart and husband Darryl of Evans, GA, and Lisa Collier and husband Joey of Hendersonville, TN; granddaughters, Katelyn and Alison Stewart; grandson, Cory Stewart (Jana); great-grandchildren, Sawyer, Ellie, and Noah Stewart; in-laws:  Margaret O’Hara of Texas, Denis (Elsie) Boland of Waverly, Shirley Boland of Dover, Mary (Artie) Kipping of Carrollton, Joan Clouse of Marshall, Helen (Bob) Pigg of Richmond, and Mike (Carolyn) Boland of Waverly; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
