Leslie Ann Brooks, 76, of Marshall, MO, died Monday, June 3, 2024, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with William W. Harlow officiating.  Burial will follow at Malta Bend Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Malta Bend Cemetery and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com

Born January 22, 1948, in Springfield, MO, she was the daughter of the late William E. Stockman and Mary Maude Clyde Stockman.  Leslie lived most of her life in Saline County, was a 1966 graduate of Malta Bend High School, and a member of Malta Bend United Methodist Church.  On August 6, 1971, she married Gary W. Brooks who preceded her in death on April 7, 2016.  Leslie and Gary owned and operated the IGA Grocery Store in Vandalia, a convenience store in Warsaw, and then returned to Marshall in 1999 where she worked and retired from Community Bank.

Survivors include her sister, Laura Ryan (Willie) of Marshall; as well as several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

In addition to her parents and husband, Leslie was preceded in death by one sister, Louise Coke.
