Slater Mayor Terry Jordan invited the public to attend the Steve McQueen Day Car Show, which will be held on Saturday, June 15.

Jordan made the announcement during his report at the City Council meeting on Tuesday. Jordan noted that there will will about 50 entries to the car show, as well as food vendors.

The car show is being held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Main Street in Slater. The event is free to the public, however, there is a $20 entry fee to register a vehicle in the car show.
