The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a crash that occurred in Lafayette County on Wednesday, June 5.

According to a report, the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by Kyle Noshirwani attempted to pass an uninvolved vehicle on Highway 131, when it struck another vehicle driven by Paul Mellott. Noshirwani’s vehicle traveled off the roadway, struck a culvert, and overturned.

Noshirwani was transported to Centerpoint Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries. The accident occurred at 8:15 a.m. on Highway 131, north of Willow Drive in Lafayette County.
