Nancy Jo Syron, 83, of Marshall, MO, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 14, 2024, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Marshall, with Fr. Francis Doyle. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Friday at the church. Inurnment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2024, in Resurrection Cemetery in Affton, MO. Memorials are suggested to St. Peter Catholic Church or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Born October 23, 1940, in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of the late Matt Sarich and Frances Klaric Sarich. On November 9, 1963, in St. Louis, she married William J. “Bill” Syron who preceded her in death on December 10, 1995. She had lived in Marshall since 1975, moving from Columbia, MO, and was the kitchen manager for Marshall High School for 35 years. . She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Altar and Rosary Society, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary and Pocahontas Golf Club. She was an avid bingo player, golfer and bowler and enjoyed going to the casinos.

Survivors include four daughters, Lori Aldredge (Merlin) of Marshall, Francie Syron of Dallas, TX, Julie Lueke (Stephan) of Lee’s Summit, MO and Katie Amos (Tyson) of Boonville, MO; 10 grandchildren, Emily Hemmer (Andy), Carlie Aldredge, Matthew Lueke, Hayden Lueke (Angie), Lucy Lueke, Molly Amos, Chase Amos, Addie Amos, Drew Mahanna and Natalie Mahanna; two great-grandsons, Jack and Otis Hemmer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Mahanna; one sister, Teresa Hunt; and one brother, Matt Sarich.
