
The Odessa Board of Aldermen approved a contract for its annual fireworks display during its meeting on Monday, June 10.
The Board approved the contract with Premier Pyrotechnics for the fireworks displays in 2024 and 2025. Odessa Mayor Bryan Barner said the city will hold its fireworks display at on Tuesday, July 2.
Festivities begin at 5, with the fireworks display starting at 9:30 p.m. Odessa residents are able to shoot fire works from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. July 1-3; and from 8 a.m. to midnight on July 4.
In other news, Barner wanted to encourage Odessa residents to take part in the city’s Economic Development and Public Safety surveys before the elections later this year.
