A truck driver suffered serious injuries after losing control of his vehicle Wednesday morning west of Warrensburg.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 36-year-old Gregory Myers of Lenexa, Ks. was driving east on Route 50, when just before 8 a.m., a tire on his semi cab blew, causing him to run off the roadway about a half-mile east of Route 58. Myers’ truck struck a concrete-lined ditch and began to overturn. He was flown to a Kansas City area hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
