The SCCC Future Business Leaders of America was represented at the annual Missouri Summer Adviser Innovation Conference (MOSAIC) held June 3 – 4, 2024, at Chateau on the Lake in Branson.

This conference is a leadership opportunity for FBLA district officers. Dianna Escarate serves as the District-19 Vice President of Public Relations and Lauren Chaney-King serves as the District-19 Vice President of Communications. Bother members attended the conference representing the six member District 19 Officer Team. King will also serve as the SCCC FBLA Chapter President for the 2024 – 2025 school year.

The conference included workshops and training sessions led the Missouri FBLA State Officer Team and the conference keynote speaker, author and motivational speaker Ashley Brinton. These workshops helped prepare the officer team to host the District-19 Leadership Conference and to cultivate captivating workshops for fellow FBLA members. Escarate and King had the opportunity to network and meet district officers from across Missouri while at the conference.

After workshops, FBLA members enjoyed an evening out on the town in Branson that included a meal and shopping. The district officers were also able to meet the new state advisor Scott Jones. Escarate and King were chaperoned by the SCCC FBLA Advisor Tracy Crumbaugh.
