Two Sedalia residents were injured—one moderately–after their motorcycle crashed east of Warsaw on Monday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the wreck on Route H near Springlake Drive, which occurred around 3:15. According to troopers, 36-year-old Eugene Edwards and a 12-year-old passenger were on a motorcycle heading west on the highway when they failed to negotiate a left-hand curve. The motorcycle went off the roadway and threw both people off. Edwards suffered moderate injuries, while his passenger experienced minor injuries. Both were taken to a Sedalia hospital.
