Salisbury’s Board of Aldermen has agreed to extend their trash service contract for another three years.
At their regular meeting June 14th, the board signed off on a three-year extension with RTS to collect the city’s residential and commercial trash, as well as service dumpsters at the city’s facilities. Separately, the board considered an event request from the Salisbury Chamber of Commerce. Mayor Steve Kacvinsky describes the event July 21st from 5 to 7 p.m. as a fundraiser.
Salisbury’s Board of Aldermen also approved an amendment to the city’s fireworks ordinance for this year. Residents will be able to shoot fireworks July 4th, 5th and 6th until 11 p.m. each night.
