Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident in Lafayette County on Friday, June 21.

According to a report, the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by Noah Austin failed to stop at a stop sign and pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by Tara Edwards on Missouri 23.

Austin was taken to Research Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. Edwards was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center with moderate injuries.

The accident occurred at 3:53 p.m. on Missouri 23 in Lafayette County.
