
The Kansas City Royals fell to the Texas Rangers 6-2 on Friday, June 22.
The Royals took the early lead, and were up 2-1 before the bullpen imploded in the sixth inning, giving up five runs and allowing the Rangers to take over the game.
Kyle Isbel homered, hitting his fifth of the year in the third inning. Brady Singer went five innings, allowing one run on three hits and two walks. Singer also struck out four while picking up a no-decision.
The Royals fall to 42-35 on the season and are seven games back from Cleveland in the AL Central.
