Absentee voting for the Aug. 6th primary election begins Tuesday across Missouri.
Saline County Clerk Brittni Burton notes that registered voters who document a reason have several ways to cast their vote early.
Burton notes that her office will also open Saturday, Aug. 3rd from 8 a.m. to noon for advanced voting. She reminds voters that while state law now allows party affiliation on a voter’s registration, you still aren’t required to declare one prior to election day.
Eligible residents who aren’t registered to vote have until July 10th to do so in order to vote in the Aug. 6th primary.
