A damaged building on the east side of the Marshall Square will be brought down later this year.

City Administrator JD Kehrman provided an update to the Marshall City Council at last week’s meeting concerning the structure along East Arrow that most recently housed Mid-Missouri Family Health.

Kehrman says that the building’s owner is in the process of securing permits and soliciting bids for demolition of the building. Kehrman notes that until the building comes down, East Arrow will remain closed between Jefferson and Odell, as well as the sidewalk around the structure.

Marshall City Administrator JD Kehrman commended the building’s owner for maintaining communication with the city and nearby residents throughout the process.
