Marshall’s city council voted last week to accept a bid for installation of a crosswalk at an intersection near Missouri Valley College.

The crosswalk at College and Odell won’t be installed until at least this fall. Mayor Vince Lutterbie explains why the project won’t happen right away.

Meyer Electric of Jefferson City had the low bid of $22,908. Lutterbie says two more crosswalks are in the works.

The Marshall city council’s next regular meeting is July 2nd.
