The Glasgow School District Board of Education approved meal prices and bids for milk and bread during its meeting on Wednesday, June 26.

The board started by approving the milk bid from Prairie Farms and the bread bid from Springfield Grocer.

The board then approved breakfast and lunch prices for students and adults. Student breakfast was set at $1.90, student lunch at $2.55, adult breakfast at $2.15, and adult lunch at $3.95.

In addition to the meal prices, the board approved pricing for extra items as well. Extra milk or juice will be $.65, main item a la carte at $1.25, and extra vegetables, bread or dessert at $.75.

Also, the board hired David McMillan for a maintenance position, and Rhonda Hawkins for the head cook position.
