A Dover woman sustained moderate injuries after a one-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon in Lafayette County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 75-year-old Sharon Larkin was northbound on Route 213 about four miles north of Higginsville, when at around 3:40 p.m., Larkin’s vehicle crossed the center line. The vehicle went off the left side of the roadway, striking a tree and embankment. Larkin was taken to a Kansas City area hospital for treatment. She was the only occupant in the vehicle.
