The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced the completion of work to rehabilitate a bridge in Chariton County.

The department announced the completion of work to the Route HH bridge over Bee Creek, about three miles northeast of Salisbury. Contractors Capital Paving and Horner & Shifrin completed the work three weeks ahead of schedule. It’s the first of 31 bridges completed in the department’s Northwest Bridge Bundle project, which are being improved by the two contractors over the next two years. Work continues on two more Chariton County bridges that are part of this project, Route WW over the old channel of the Chariton River outside Forest Green, and Route F over Palmer Creek, just north of U.S. Route 24.
