The St Louis Blues have drafted Czech defenseman Adam Jiricek with the 16th overall pick in the 2024 NHL Draft.

Jiricek marked his 18th birthday at the draft in Las Vegas on Friday night, following in the footsteps of his older brother David, who was drafted by the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2022.  The Blues have eight picks in the remaining six rounds, which take place today beginning at 10:30 a.m. Central Time.
