A majority of Sedalia residents and businesses will have their trash pickup one day earlier as a result of the Fourth of July holiday.

City offices including the city’s materials management site on Route U will close Thursday to celebrate the holiday. As a result, trash collection will move up a day earlier for residents and businesses in Sedalia whose regular pick-up days are Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Those whose trash collection is on Friday will see no changes, as city facilities will resume normal operating hours Friday.
