A bridge in Carroll County is the next to close for rehabilitation under the Missouri Department of Transportation’s Northwest Bridge Bundle.
The Route CC bridge over Little Wakenda Creek, about two miles northeast of Carrollton, will close July 15th. Motorists will need to find an alternate route around the closure. Crews with Capital Paving and Construction, utilizing the design by Horner & Shifrin, will complete repairs to the 58-year-old bridge. Work is expected to be completed by the end of October.
This bridge is among the 31 on the Northwest Bridge Bundle, which saw its first bridge completed last week in Chariton County, ahead of schedule. The entire bundle and timetable for the project is available on MoDOT’s website.
