The Pettis County Commission and representatives from OWN Engineering and JK Concrete & Hauling LLC conducted the final inspection for a bridge on Main Street Road on Tuesday, June 25.

After the inspection of the bridge was complete, it was determined the project was substantially finalized and the road was ordered to be opened to traffic effective July 2.

No local dollars were used on the $631,651 project, as it was financed entirely through American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. Additionally, the county secured over $500,00 in soft match credits to use in future projects.

The Pettis County Commission appreciates the patience and support of the local community during the construction period.
