The Marshall Chamber of Commerce is celebrating Independence Day with a fireworks display at Indian Foothills Park.

The event will be held on Thursday, July 4 at the park. The Marshall Municipal Band is set to perform at 8 p.m., with the fireworks beginning at dusk.

In case of inclement weather, the fireworks display will be moved to Friday, July 5, at the same time and location.

Also, the Partners in Patriotism have announced that due to the high potential for heavy rain, volunteers will not be putting out flags until Thursday morning.
