
Three Kansas City residents were injured early Wednesday morning after their vehicle went off the side of Interstate 70 in Saline County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the one-vehicle accident just before 2 a.m. on eastbound I-70, about two miles west of the Marshall Junction. According to troopers, 58-year-old Donna Strickland was driving when her vehicle went off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned. Strickland and two passengers, a 42-year-old woman and nine-year-old boy, all suffered moderate injuries and were taken to a Columbia hospital.
