A two-vehicle accident just shy of the Johnson County line Tuesday afternoon sent a Centerview man to hospital.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 25-year-old Christopher Barnes Haggard was driving his pickup east on Route 50 around 4:40 p.m., when he ran into the back of another pickup that had slowed down because of another traffic crash. Barnes Haggard suffered moderate injuries and was taken to a Kansas City area hospital. The driver of the other vehicle is from Warrensburg and had no reported injuries.
