Public works crews in Sedalia have had to wait a week before starting storm water improvements along a two-block stretch of U.S. Route 50.

The City of Sedalia announced that the lane closure of East Broadway from Engineer to Center has been delayed to Monday, July 15th, following the past week’s weather. The project will see the right eastbound lane closed between July 15th and 26th so that crews can complete the improvements. The intersection with South Wagner will remain open. City crews add that more inclement weather or equipment breakdowns could further delay the project.
