Marshall’s newest school building remains on track to open in August 2025, according to the district’s assistant superintendent.
During his report to board members at Tuesday’s meeting, assistant superintendent David Reinke says construction crews will turn their focus later this month to additional concrete work for the new intermediate school. He remarks on the building’s progress.
Reinke also updated the board on a land exchange with the City of Marshall, bringing the entire site of the former Marshall Habilitation Center under the district’s ownership.
Which means this coming school year will be the last for Eastwood School.
Assistant Superintendent David Reinke added that a representative from Nabholz Construction, the firm building the intermediate school, is expected to be at the next Marshall Schools board of education meeting, set for Aug. 27th.
