The Key Club at Carrollton High School has received the go-ahead from the Carrollton R-VII school board to plant a memory garden in the district.
The club’s request was presented at last week’s board of education meeting, according to superintendent Dr Tinna Croy.
Croy says the location of the garden will be determined later in the year. The board also agreed to a plan to make available for alumni old yearbooks that the district still has in storage.
Carrollton’s school board also approved a change order to install a folding wall in a large classroom space at the Carrollton Area Career Center.
