
Marilyn Sterling, 70, of Brunswick, MO, died Saturday, July 13, 2024, at University Hospital and Clinics in Columbia.

Born December 20, 1953, in Columbia, she was the daughter of Eugene Morris who survives of Excelsior Springs and the late Shirley Griggs Morris. Marilyn lived in Brunswick for many years and retired from Con-Agra Foods in Marshall.
In addition to her father, Eugene Morris; she is survived by her longtime companion, Sylvester Jordan of the home; three children: William Dean Cox of Kansas City, Shawna Lee Cox of Marshall and Jesse James Cox of Kansas City; six grandchildren (as well as many adopted kids and grandkids); one brother, Mark Morris of Trimble; one sister, Gale Arms of Columbia; two stepsisters, Shelly Cox-Manley of Excelsior Springs and Norma Meredith of Excelsior Springs; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her stepmother, Judy Morris; and one brother, Dale Morris.
