Portions of a roadway leading to Sedalia’s Bothwell Hospital will be closed this week for resurfacing, requiring drivers to find a detour.

Public works crews with the City of Sedalia will mill South Ingram Avenue from 16th Street south to 28th Street, where the roadway becomes Route U. Milling will begin each day at 5 a.m. and continue until 7 p.m. Residents living along this roadway, as well as anyone needing to reach Sedalia Middle School, will need to coordinate with city crews on site to determine access to driveways. Crews expect to complete the project by Friday, but inclement weather or equipment breakdowns could delay completion.
