The Boonville City Council approved a resolution to seek funding through the Community Development Block Grant to aid with the expansion and renovation for childcare facilities during its meeting on Monday, July 15.

The project was discussed during the meeting, where City Administrator Kate Fjell explained that the city was trying to secure $500,000 from CDBG for the project.

The council approved the resolution with a unanimous vote.

In other news, the council approved the appointment of Chrissy Stemmons to the Boonville Housing Authority.
