Missouri voters wanting to fulfill their civic duty ahead of the Aug. 6th Primary Election can do so beginning Tuesday without specifying an excuse.

Saline County Clerk Brittni Allison Burton says an excuse was required for anyone seeking to cast an absentee vote in the past month.

The Saline County Clerk’s office is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The office will also open from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Aug. 3rd for absentee voting.
