Timothy Aquinas Thompson, 70 of Marshall, MO, died Sunday, July 21, 2024, at his home.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 26, 2024, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with Matt Arni Jr. officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Smith Chapel Cemetery. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Born September 28, 1953, in Marshall, he was the son of the late Gregory J. Thompson and Mary Ellen Barnes Thompson. Tim was a 1971 graduate of Marshall High School and attended CMSU in Warrensburg for one year. On December 9, 1972, in Marshall, he married Debra Sue Arni who survives of the home. He was owner/operator of his own landscaping company, Lawn Care Specialist. Tim loved his family and referred to it as his “unit”. He loved going to all of his grandkids activities and enjoyed wood carving.

Survivors include his wife, Debra; three sons, Justin Thompson (Christie) of Sedalia, Heath Thompson (Ashlea) and Seth Thompson (Leann) of Marshall; 12 grandchildren, Isaac, Dalton, Heather, Brandon, Matthew, Edmund, Shelley, Greyson, Madelyn, Kinnley, Greydon and Bronsyn Thompson; nine siblings, Paula South (John), Greg Thompson, Raymond Thompson (Nancy), Damien Thompson (Carol), Laura Vollmer, Mary Arnold, Paul Thompson(Kim) , Joe Thompson (Susie) and Rita Thompson (Kelly); brother-in-law, David Dominguez; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by one brother, David Daniel Thompson; one sister, Marie Elaine Dominguez; one nephew, Chris South; and his father and mother-in-law, Matt and Edwina Arni.
